Karachi Tightens Cattle Market Rules Before Eid ul Azha

As Eid ul Azha approaches, authorities in Karachi have introduced strict new rules for setting up cattle markets, aiming to avoid chaos and improve management across the city.

Under the new policy, anyone wanting to set up a cattle market must first obtain official permission from the Commissioner’s Office. Officials have made it clear that no market will be allowed to operate without approval, and all arrangements will be reviewed in coordination with police and traffic authorities.

The administration has also warned that illegal cattle markets will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against violators. Deputy commissioners and law enforcement agencies have been directed to ensure full implementation, so that citizens can buy sacrificial animals in a more organized and secure environment this year.
